Production of algae biomass for carbon sequestration and the generation of carbon credits
The production of algae on offshore platforms for large-scale carbon sequestration will allow access to the carbon credits’ markets.
Production of algae biomass on offshore platforms for animal and human feed
Agriculture uses 50% of the existing fresh water for man, pollutes the soil with fertilizers, air with pesticides and causes accelerated soil erosion. Algae aquaculture does not use fresh water, fertilizers or pesticides; is balanced and sustainable. There are numerous uses of algae to enrich human food and animal feed production, with vast health benefits and environmental impacts.
Aquaculture production of bivalves, fish and other marine organisms on offshore platforms
Through the use of sea platforms it is also possible to produce various types of bivalves,fish and other marine organisms, with improved results in terms of costs and the quality of the products.
Consultancy
AVOS has identified a large and diverse range of projects related to the blue economy, which require technical and financial support for their implementation.

Sensor Installation
Implementation of sensor networks to conduct the continuous evaluation of the marine area. These sensors will monitor the physical, chemical and biological environment through a network of permanent observatories, and allow the establishment of a long-term monitoring program (with comprehensive time and spatial series), answering pressing questions such as increased biomass and resources in the installation areas.
Social Responsibility
We intend to associate social responsibility initiatives to our projects. For example, the conversion of employment to senior fishermen to aquaculture, taking advantage of their empirical knowledge of the sea, and creating job opportunities for young graduates in the fields of biology and engineering.
